I would like to say that Karbala is a special city for Shia...
I would like to say that Karbala is a special city for Shia which are interested in Imam Hosain and would like to go to his shrine.
For non religious people there are modern parts of the city that could be interested to go for shopping and such cases.
The location was good but there was not like hotel the whole building was not like passage and market . Lots of noise people singing in midnight in groups and kids running in the corridor playing with lifts doing football infront of our door our complaints did not make any difference. The staff smoking all the times in corridor and reception and they were very unfriendly.
I loved and enjoyed the hospitality at this place. As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable. The owner and his team are making sure, that you get the most maximum comfort. The staff is very friendly and respecful. The location is perfect for visiting the holy shrines in Karbala. It is clean. I would definitely recommend this place!
My evaluation keeps in mind the place, the country and the the average structures. The structure is good to stay some nights, an accommodation somewhere between western and Iraqi standards. Workers are very nice and helpful, both in the hotel and at the reception. Lot of water always available and free.
The staff were kind and helpful especially bagher who spoke persian and was kind rooms were clean the service was totally good distance to haram is a little far in comparision with other hotels (about 13 minute walk ) and they didnt have a shuttle
I had multiple stays at Rayhan Hotel in Karbala via Booking.com and am pleased with the hotel. The facilities are consistently improving, which is great. The only downside is Ms. Setayesh's unpleasant behavior towards guests.
The only problem with this hotel is the location. If it was near to shrines, would be excellent.
The full board services shall be provided for the guests since the access to the restaurants is not easy.
Excellent hotel over all. I was very pleased to know there is a regular shuttle bus to the shrines , so although it was a bit of a distance from the shrines we didn't have to hire taxis.
The room and specifically the bathroom was so dirty it didn’t worth the money we paid although the staff was very nice and friendly but it wasn’t like a 5 star hotel at all
The only plus for this hotel is the breakfast. It includes most of the options I expected and better than the other hotels I stayed during my visit at Iraq.
If you want to stay in a real 5star international hotel in Karbala you should stay in Rayhaan.
Staffs are helpful and friendly.
breakfast has good quality
Friendly stuff , quiet area , clean rooms, and great hospitality... I will definitely visit again and recommend the hotel to all my friends and family 👌
