We had to book a hotel as our flight was cancelled. The Citizen M is within walking distance of the terminal and the price was good. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, AMEDIA Hotel Amsterdam Airport offers pet-friendly accommodation in Schiphol with a 24 hours reception . Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

Was very close to the bus route to and from Schipol. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. No frills but what was what we needed for that night. Appeared to have free parking but we didn't drive so I don't know
The gateway to the Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the world’s busiest international passenger terminals and is home to the Dutch national airline – KLM.
The airport sits on reclaimed land around 3 metres below sea level on the site of a former huge inland lake. In fact, the name Schiphol may mean 'ship grave', a reference to the ships that would periodically be sunk in its turbulent waters.
A train station serving many Dutch cities lies beneath the terminal building which houses a mini Rijksmuseum exhibition, reference library with multilingual books, and plenty of shops selling the ubiquitous clogs, tulip bulbs and cheese.
Booking.com’s range of Schiphol Airport hotels includes several within the airport grounds. Others are in neighbouring Hoofddorp, a town also within the area of the former lake, whose De Eersteling windmill overlooks a dike encircling a former fort.
Another windmill – the Molen van Sloten – is across a canal from Badhoevedorp on the airport’s north side. To the east the huge Amsterdamse Bos forest is a haven of peace and tranquillity (apart from the occasional aircraft!) and borders Amstelveen. To the south-west is Aalsmeer, a town set on the huge Westeinderplassen Lake, and whose massive flower auction house receives daily consignments from all over the world.

we were disappointed and would probably not return to this hotel in the future. the property was clean and in a good area. the food we ordered was good. the shuttle to the airport was good and timely. the lack of information provided by the hotel was our biggest problem - for those who are savvy world travelers it would probably not have presented an issue but for two older people who are not familiar with the hotel a LOT of information would have been helpful.

I live in Germany and travel on business from Schiphol over the last 25 years. Schiphol is well organized and structure. It features short walkways to Terminals. Security checks durations are predictable and typically go prompt. You can get good snacks and meals in a variety of caffes and restaurants. I love Starbucks right in the middle of arrivals hall. I also love going for shopping - Rituals, Victoria Secrets, Electronics, travel bags, cosmetics, books and accessories.

It helps to have a little fore - knowledge about the airport for ease of finding your way. It's very well organized and has good small fresh food places . As far as airports go it is well planned, well laid out and very manageable.

The only thing I had problems with was locating pick up area for Uber cars. I lost my pick up and had to take taxi.
It is usually a friendly airport for travelers.
For the rest I have nothing to complain about

As a frequent traveler, I have had the pleasure of experiencing airports worldwide, and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam consistently stands out as an exemplary hub that sets the bar high for international travel.
Schiphol Airport goes above and beyond in delivering an exceptional travel experience. Its commitment to efficiency, world-class facilities, innovative technology, cultural integration, and environmental sustainability make it a shining example of what an international airport should be. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist, Schiphol's seamless operations and attention to detail ensure that your journey starts and ends on a high note. Highly recommended!
Great Hotel directly located in the Airport Schiphol , we had a Suite wich was great and also Business Lounge Access with nice food in the evening and free drinks ,Personel in the lounge was exeptional . Also the spa area was great with different sauna options all for free and as well a whirlpool .
Room was spacecious and beds where great , breakfast was also nice with lots of fresh options , the transfer to and from the airport and trainstation was trough the airport , you dont need to go outside .
We're Dutch but living on Curaçao. We visit the Netherlands often and because our hometown is +2 hours driving from the airport we always stay the night before at Schiphol before heading home. Our first experience with this hotel was so good we never stayed anywhere else.
Everything is perfect. And especially the bed, the pillows and sheets does us not want to wake up in the morning haha. Facilities are also good, bathrobe, slippers, coffee etc.
We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Amsterdam, the hotel is just a five minute walk to the train station at the airport and from there it's a 15-20 minute train ride to the Amsterdam Central Station. The room is small but very comfy and clean. It's a well thought out concept with the smart controls through the iPad. We also added breakfast which was very tasty and of good quality. Staff was also very helpful and nice.
Typical airport hotel, modern with good facilities and easy reach from the airport by free shuttle service, which worked very well in both directions (from and to the airport/train station of Schiphol). Big, clean and comfortable rooms, to have a good sleep before the flight. Like many of these hotels well equipped and functional, but huge and anonymus.
Breakfast impressed us with its variety and deliciousness. The room is adequate: it is not luxurious, but it is neat, clean, and spacious enough for us. This hotel is a good option for transit or if you want to stay close to Schiphol airport because they provide a shuttle bus (free from airport to hotel but 5 euro to go to airport).
Hotel was a quick 2 minute walk indoors to Amsterdam airport terminals and train station to city center. Room was very clean, spacious and surprisingly soundproof! Did not hear the planes landing and taking off. Thank you to Sheraton for allowing us to checkin early after our overnight flight from Canada.
If you need a stopover to sleep inside the airport, it would be convenient. I had a super early flight, but still had to go through passport control when switching terminals in the morning so probably staying at a more comfortable and cheaper hotel outside the actual airport would have saved as much time.
Excellent wifi connection that allowed me to work remotely during the day before my flight (both in my room and in the restaurant). Really helpful staff at reception, the free shuttle between Schiphol Airport takes about 15-20 min. Hotel is stylish and my bed was super comfy. Would stay again!
Very nice rooms. Friendly staff and close to the Airport. The hotel is also very close to the Amsterdam bos and that is so beautiful.
The rooms are new and the hotel looks very modern. Absolute worth booking if you need to fly out the next day.
Normally cheap airport hotels are an experience one tolerates. However, the comfort in this room was far above its pricepoint. Great AC, very quiet, and definitely the best value I've found for overnight layover hotels for Schipol.
I loved that the room had everything: a kettle, a great ironing device and board (we had to go to a wedding the day after and really needed that).
Also the transfer from Schiphol Airport to the hotel is really convenient!
Rooms are well appointed with a nice desk. Plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. This is my go to hotel in Amsterdam. I love the proximity to the airport and train station.
The staff and facilities here are top notch. Very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay near the Schiphol airport. Great place!
