The environment, in the middle of the nature and the staff. The staff is very kind, they clean, change sheets and towels every day. The ladies at the breakfast are also fantastic. We saw monkeys and birds every day. We have free filtered water at the hotel.

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it!
The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds.
If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise.
Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and hot water worked well. There is a vanity table with a mirror in the room and a side closet for hanging or storing things. We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant.
Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

There is road construction EVERYWHERE.
There is road construction EVERYWHERE. We had no problem with their shared taxi, which means you will have several people squeezed in with you, going more or less in the same direction, but with the construction, many times your cab will not be able to reach your destination. This is Mexico 40 years ago.

Charming tourist town with friendly people and great choice of restaurants. There was a lot of construction and construction noise on the Main Street during our visit which prevented us from exploring the whole town.

If I was 25 and wanted to drink all day, it might be the place for a vacation. Lots of bars and clubs. I food is ok if you can get pass the barkers in the street. If you get out of city central, you can find some lovely beaches, but they are packed with people. We stayed in town for 5 days and two days on an out Island. Be prepared for many of the three- and four-star hotels have no AC. I have traveled all over the world; this would be on the bottom of my list. They haven't taken care of the environment or the waters that bring people to this location.

Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town, as it can get muddy and there's currently construction in town for a new sewer system. While the locals can be a bit assertive and follow you around offering you tour options (and drugs), they'll back off if you say no thanks. Do not drink the tap water and ask for filtered water stations (I also stuck with beer & wine versus mixed drinks with ice). A group from my hostel rented E-bikes which was the right choice to visit Bluff Beach, which made for a great afternoon.

Right now the streets are under construction….
Right now the streets are under construction…. And I mean ALL the streets. It’s tough on the tourism industry for that reason. There may not have been as many people visiting as there normally would be at that time of year. However, don’t let that stop you from going. It’s a fantastic place to visit. So much to se and do. Excellent restaurants.

Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public infrastructure is awful, with mud, and potholes everywhere, very difficult to walk and get anywhere. Prices of the hotels and restaurants are slightly exaggerated in my view.
This is a fantastic BnB, well located a 20 minute walk out of town, quiet and peaceful with a lovely deck looking out on the water. There’s a well equipped kitchen, great & well maintained social areas (hammocks, board games etc), comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms with hot water.
What makes the property really special though is Marco and the team. They gave us the friendliest welcome we’ve had travelling south/Central America, cooked us delicious breakfasts and were generally very friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the center of Bocas Town and just across the street where se take the boatos to do the tours through the islands. The room I stayed in was basic, with a bed and bathroom, but everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom was small but functioned normally. And the owners, Lucas and Sylwia, were always very helpful in everything. And the coffee they serve in the cafeteria right below the B&B is great, I recommend it!
Super friendly staff and owners! We felt very welcome and cared for. Spacious and very clean room with a big balcony. We had booked 3 night but ended up spending 8 nights here. It is located in a village with locals in a very non touristy part of Bocas, but still only a minute away with boat taxi from bocas town. If you want to surf the smaller waves on Bocas and not take a boat there, this island is the place to stay, and this hotel is a great place!
Nice place if you would like to experience some jungle housing. There are a lot of young cool travellers and packbackers, if you like to meet new people from all over the world this is the place to go! Every night there is a family dinner with other guests. A lil bit different experience than in usual accommodations. We liked it! Food was good and the pool was nice! Very beautiful views! It’s quite close to Bocas Town, easy to travel with water taxi.
We loved everything about the stay and property - especially the location directly on the water was exceptional. You can hear the waves in your bed bringing you sweet dreams. Also the breakfast was amazing and the host is like the best host you can imagine and then even better. She helps you with anything and gives you all the information you need to have an awesome time.
Short walk to beautiful Red Frog beach. Lots of red frogs and other animals.
Various nature activities including walk to Caiman lake and beach cleanup. Daily beach volleyball.
Beautiful 🥰 🥰 Polo Beach only 40 min walk. Great snorkeling spot. Free beach snorkeling!
Good food in the restaurant and good grocery store close by.
Selina water taxi to Bocas Town.
Location is top notch. Bambuda's deck is definitely instagram-worthy. There is no hostel like it on the Bocas Town waterfront, as people flock there to catch the vibes. Additionally, they offer live music, game nights, welcome drinks, and tours. Because everyone is so friendly, it's also very easy to make new friends here.
The location is wonderful. The hotel is rustic and meant for people who would sacrifice comfort to be closed to nature. My family had a great experience, I am glad there was no TV and limited internet connection. The stars at night and the crystal clear water made our stay in Punta Caracol more enjoyable.
Very friendly husband and wife team. Very helpful with every aspect. Less than 5 min walk to Bocas town. Nice to have breakfast included and washer and dryer on premises. Restaurant next door for easy access. Very clean. No stairs on property. Very safe and secure property with a small & cozy room.
- Very friendly and good spirited staff!
- The room was small, but comfortable enough
- Good price / quality (for Bocas standards)
- Strong and warm shower
- Good location.
- Lovely outdoor Loggia on the first floor with great views on the water.
I loved that it was right on the water. Xavier and Virginia were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and helpful, but not intrusive. They let you do your thing. Virginia is an amazing chef. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic.
We stayed here for a couple nights as my husband booked a dive at their shop and we wanted to be close to Bocas Town to go out at night. The hotel was clean with a lovely restaurant and very pleasant staff.
The breakfast was very good with several choices. The location was good and on the water. It was within walking distance to every place in needed to go. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect close to all the restaurants and water taxis. Staff was very helpful as well. It was clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here while 8n Bocas town.
Breakfast was very good, a nice variety in a great location. Between the host and guests there was lots of conversation and information about Bocas Town and things to do.
