Location was excellent, a lot of nature around and peace. Hotel looks very good and clean, room is big enough and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spa area was also excellent, but a bit busy. Parking spots were enough and right in front of the hotel. Overall a great experience, we'll surely come back especially at summer when the outside pool is opened.

Alba Iulia's walled city was a surprising cluster of food stands and tourist trinket kiosks and rides for children. It was loud and busy. One museum was closed, and the Roman museum had busts of Roman rulers and pillars and other stone objects. Children will love it, but history-seekers might not.

Majestic city built inside a 16th century medieval fortress, keeping all the historical elements it is famous for. Many accomodations to choose from. Some great restaurants and diners. Open air swimming pools are available around the city. Nearby you can also find a forest and a great hilly area which provide a great panoramic view of the city.

Alba Iulia is a touristic town, full of history (the biggest fortress in Romania), with great connections by road ( A10, A1 ) , train or plane ( Sibiu Airport 50 minutes away and Cluj Napoca 1 h. 15 minutes ). There are very good restaurants with reasonable prices - Vila Preciosa or Pub13, for example. Plenty of cultural events are going on, every month. Don't miss the changing of guards on Saturdays and Sundays from 12.00. Also, Fridays, at 19.00 there is a Daco - Romans Fighting Show. Don't miss the History Museum and Sala Uniri ( where the unification act was signed on 1st of December 1918 ). There is a new and nice museum for icons - Museikon.ro. The cathedrals - catholic "Sf Mihail" - the oldest and longest in Romania, and orthodox - The Coronation Cathedral, where King Mihai 1 was crowned in 1922. Have fun!

Pleasant experience overall, not only inside the fortress, but also walking on the cobbled pathway between the two external walls of the bastion, where nowadays there are benches, ornamental trees and even a small pond with exotic fish. There are a few cafes and food vans inside the citadel, so the visitors could recharge themselves while walking between statues, churches and museums.

This is a city in Romania which is really prepared for tourism, above all the expectations that we had. There are QR codes on the streets and on the main attractions, English speaking in every museum and restaurant that we entered.

I visited the city for a music festival held at RYMA spaces, inside the fortress.
The fortress is well preserved and has a lot of wonderful sights and attractions. It has been restored and looks great.
However, the city itself is not that cool - it does not have too much to offer, except for the fortress and historical center, of course. It is unkempt and, with the exception of the modern center, rather poorly maintained. The roads are terrible - potholes, roadworks, poor traffic management, etc..
If you are not attending a festival/other event, spending more than one night here is too much.
If I should say what I liked more in this hotel I would say "everything"! The room was big, clean and very comfortable. Wifi available inside the structure with a strong signal. People at the reception and at the restaurant was very kind and professional. There is a big garden with a patio where to relax drinking a beer or enjoy food from restaurant. Parking is free, spacious and with surveillance cameras. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the old city. Definitely my choice if I'll want visit Alba Iulia again.
Excellent location, very close to the Alba Iulia Citadel (5 minutes walking to the Third Gate/Main Gate of the historical citadel);
- large&cheap public parking right on the street;
- we received a big&very clean room, with a beautiful city view, coffee&tea from the house
- very friendly staff, available on the phone&whatsapp at any hour, they gave us useful advices about restaurants for every meal
- for Alba Iulia City Race, it was the best accommodation so far; can't wait to come back next year! ❤️
Very good location , within walking distance to city center , all tourist attractions , Restaurants , Pubs and Supermarket .
Very comfortable and cozy apartment with good facilities , very clean and all staff are very kind .
The owner is very friendly , helpful and nice .
Overall we recommend the "Casa cu Nuc Grill & Pool" for long or short visit in Alba Iulia and if we will visit this nice city again we certainly will stay there again .

We liked everything. It is the perfect stay when in Alba Iulia. The apartment we booked was extremely clean, with two bathrooms. It is close to the Alba Carolina citadel. The hosts are great, they recommended us a place to eat dinner and also offered guidance regarding the surroundings. They also offer a perfect breakfast, very good food.
The owner provided a lot of information about property and Alba Iulia, she made sure we found the property and have all we need.
The property has reserved parking.
There is an elevator.
Self check in and checkout.
Amazing location, it is not only close to the citadel but there are a lot of places to eat and a mini market in the block.
The location is very good and there is plenty of parking which normally is payable, but on this ocasssion due to roadworks it was free. Room was nice & warm, with a coffee machine, fridge and an AC. The owner did provide us with a text message with all the relevant details for someone who is new to the town of Alba Iulia. Thank you
We were late with the check-in but the owner eas super helpfull to let us in the apartment. Although the flat was situated in an old house, it gave us a pleasant surprise with its cleanness, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view from the windows upon the hills of Alba Iulia was an awesome morning surprise.
A really nice smallish hotel within easy reach of the centre of Alba Iulia. The staff elevate the hotel from good to great though, and special mention of Andrea (?) on the reception desk. So friendly and welcoming.
Very comfy bed, well equipped room, good shower, large TV.
The entire experience was wonderful! Everything was newly renovated and extremely comfortable! If you have the opportunity to stay here, it is well worth the very reasonable price! We will be staying here again if we find ourselves back in Alba Iulia.
everything...it is a big villa with 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, one big open-space (living and kitchen)...very close to the citadel of Alba Iulia...around 5-7 minutes and you are in the citadel
Everything was nice, the accommodation, the restaurant.
Very nice stuff, friendly and welcoming!
Nice breakfast with many options.
Quite close to the Alba Iulia Fortress.
Excellent location, nice hotel right in the heart of the citadel. The room was large and clean. Evwrything you needed was there! Beakfast is simple but enough.
