Nice town but only a couple of places of interest: The Zorn Museum and the ski museum. The ski museum was closed. Decent restaurants especially 'The Pub' which served a very good inexpensive buffet.

Mora is a beautiful small town in a very beautiful surrounding. Visiting the town takes maybe half a day, but you can spend an eternity in the surrounding nature. A recommendation is to visit Nusnäs, where the hand-make the Swedish (dala) horses

Hired bikes from the camping ground and explored the area.
Hired bikes from the camping ground and explored the area. Loved the Zorn museum. Lovely size town with good places to eat. Bishops Arms great pub with very good food. Enjoyed the bike ride to Nusnas.
Very nice place to stay in Mora. The house has all needed facilities and very cozy. Also layout of the property allows one to divide the spaces. Very clean, and the check-in was pretty easy. The property is located right next to the very downtown of Mora and perfect for having a walk in the city. There's a sauna available and we had the hottest sauna in Sweden so far, small and convenient. One just had to put themselves in the sauna list. I'd recommend the property and would book it again once.
For a ski enthusiast the location is the best ever. They have a colourful table outside the door which is RIGHT by the goalpost for Vasaloppet, also facing the old buildings. (It's permanent there year round). The hostel have everything you need, but is a bit pricey compared with elsewhere in Sweden. After all Mora is really worth a visit. Such an incredible beautiful area. Very friendly staff and for once finally a hostel where the self-check-in actually worked without hickups.
The hotel is part of a larger complex for caravans, tents, and chalets etc. The rooms was large, clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style and extremely good. It was located ina quiet wooded area just outside of Mora but in walking distance of the town centre (about 12 minutes) and Mora Strand train station and the lake. Good wifi. Quiet in early September, but I imagine it is very busy during the peak summer season.
This seems to have been an old Scandic hotel, now converted into a separate business. The rooms and décor is a bit old-fashioned, but everything is practical. The little pool is nice. The parking is close to the entrance. The breakfast is nice - as Scandic breakfast was before they changed it. The lounge area is nice.
Staff was quite helpful and attentive. The room was adequate and clean on our arrival. Breakfast was great. Mora is a terrific little town, and the Anders Zorn house and museum were both wonderful. There is a lovely hiking trail and golf course within walking distance as well.
The breakfast was very nice and fresh. The location was perfect in the center of town, adjacent to the town library and just minutes away from Anders Zorn's home and museum, the finish line of the Vasaloppet and Mora's beautiful 17th century church.
Fresh small cottage outside of Mora. Very calm area. You don't hear any cars which is great and relaxing. The cottage is newly built. Good communication with the owners. We arrived late and there was no problem to check in so late.
Very close to the Mora city. My husband is a forest lover so the Skog Museum also made our day. The flat very comfortable. Super comfortable beds. And owners have beautiful greyhounds nice to look at.
Breakfast was OK. Bathroom is decent size but here's a strange thing - the toilet roll was on the inside of the door. I never saw that before in an hotel. Nothing wrong with that - somewhat amusing!
Amazing property. Recommended stay in Mora. Its a bit pricy but no regrets on this one. The location is quite amazing.
I tried the spa as well. It was quite nice.
The staff were friendly, and the hotel is located central to the city. the atmosphere was nice and the room was clean and they had parking place for cars.
