Hot spring facilities were wonderful, too bad we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it longer. Breakfast spread was good too and the bed rooms were very clean and comfortable. Especially liked the indoor children playground.

The staff in this hotel have the best service attitude I have ever encountered. Friendly, professional and always willing to help.
The hotel shuttle drivers were friendly and very punctual.
We experienced the earthquake having breakfast and the service staff ensured our safety by evacuating us calmly and professionally…they must have felt scared and worried too. Kudos to the great service attitude!
The concierge staff was really helpful throughout our stay, helping to book the shuttle van and responding last minute as we missed our train from Yilan. He also helped to carry the luggages down 7 floors as the lift were under review after the earthquake. Thank you so much!
Great spread for breakfast and hotel provided free food for afternoon snacks and evening snacks. Loved these!
The jacuzzi pool with hot springs water was very relaxing. One of the nozzle did not work and the lifeguard immediately responded and got it fixed! Great efficiency!

The free hot springs in the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park and Tangweigou Park are enjoyable. Easy to reach them, right besides with many vendors and convenient stores where can buy some drinks, snacks. Recommend to bring your own towels and shorts. The hotspring is very warm around 40 degree Celsius.

When I booked the hotel because has Japan style onsen in and room and public. The room too small for superior double room but it was single room. Hotel include buffer breakfast and gym at 9 floor. Gym hour from 0900 - 2100. The public onsen from 0700-1100 then from 1500-2300. I requested gym hour open two hour early from 0700-2100. Because the original hour gym is not ideal time for guest to use it. The price for hotel too expensive because the Japan style almost same in Japan but not quite yet but charge same price as it was in Japan. Jiaoxi is onsen town and I believe there should be other hotel cheaper and offer the same service

Whether it was our hotel manager or shop owners, people were not friendly. We went to a public hot spring spa, and it was overpriced and there was no water. It is not family friendly nor tourist friendly.
Conveniently located in central Jiaoxi, just near the public hot spring foot baths, and next to the Chili Hunter shop, a local landmark. Easy walking distance to anywhere in town. Rooms are very large, with high ceilings. The hot spring tub is a decent size and fills quickly. The tub/shower area is separated from the sink/toilet area, so it's still easy to use the bathroom without wetting your feet later. The room had some complimentary extras, like an herbal bath soak and fruit vinegar.
The room we stayed in was very large and the extra sitting area was comfortable. The views over the town and the mountain were excellent - including from the bathtub. The hot spring tub was large and very relaxing, it was awesome to have that in the room. Location was convenient with a short walk from the train station and many convenience stores nearby.
Note that this room is in the older part of the hotel so breakfast and spa are in the other building (separate Booking listing).
The room was great and spacious, beds were comfy, and the private bath tub was definitely a huge plus. The common facilities were also quite amazing, in- and out-door hot spring spa, gym, and the video game room. Great place to stay for a relaxing hot spring holiday!
The location was also amazing, we were able to walk from the long distance bus terminal to the hotel by foot within a few minutes.
Location was good. In the heart, near a onsen park, just beside. Plenty of food around location too. Just that hotel is difficult to find. It was located beside a restaurant.
Fairly new place, very clean. But very wet weather in Yilan. No boiling flask in room, as there is hot/cold water depenser. But Owner quickly lent hers to us as we travel with baby.
Breakfast was very nice.
The local reviewers are being very generous with their ratings.
I foolishly thought I was getting a heavily-discounted room by booking on a weekday. What I got was an old, broken down hotel and seems to be run entirely by a grandma and her grandson.
At least there was some hot water in the tub and the WiFi worked well-enough. And the young man at the front desk was polite.
Free sumptious breakfast and adequate afternoon tea provided. Hotel is beautifully designed in Japanese style. I had the loft room which had 2 storeys. Spacious and lovely bedroom upstairs and gigantic bathroom with a large tub for soaking in hot spring water.
Very nice hotel - the in room hot spring bath was amazing! Breakfast was lovely - you get to choose what you would like from a list provided each morning and can have this in your room or in the restaurant/cafe area. Staff were lovely and very friendly.
Really a short 2 to 3 min walk to hotel from Jiaoxi train station. Very convenient location. The hot spring bathtub is also very big so I can get a good soak. Guess you can't expect to get a perfect accommodation with such price point.
the host was so nice and kind!!!! talked with her using google translate, she made us nice healthy breakfast.
the room was big clean and new! with towels toothbrush and everything needed. felt like a premium hotel.
the location of the hotel is really good. it is close to the train station and lots of good restaurants nearby. the hot spring pool is really nice. we enjoyed our stay.
The onsen in the room. The kid's sliding bed. The breakfast is good. There is a kid's indoor playground owned by the hotel, just next to the entrance of the hotel.
