Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike. The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh. We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.

It is a lovely place to stay for one night or two during a Mekong delta trip as there is not so much to do there. If you enjoy long walk, cycling, fishing and good food, then it is definitely worth stopping in Vinh Long on the way to Can Tho. People are really friendly and it is very relaxing there.

In this homestay you actually live IN THE SAME HOUSE of the owner not close or near by, but INSIDE wich it's a real plus. The grandmother still cook with real fire and the food it's just amazing. A tour was arranged not expansive at all and It was also very interesting. I am glad that people like Ouah allow tourist to join her family and became for a short part of It. Thank you for the Amazing experience, I recommend 100%

She arranges motorbike rentals, tours and booking a bus for your next trip without any commission. She speaks German and English. The homestay is fairly new and superclean. The beds are really good en the airco is noiseless. The food is delicious and freshley made and really cheap. I would come back any time. The pool is clean and nice and the hotel offers bikes and kayaks for free so that you can explore this beautiful Mekong-island by yourself. The family is very nice and helpful and the food is very good.

Bánh Tráng Nướng( very popular street food) is right in front of the hotel and a lot of street food around as well! It is also a good place for fireworks on New Year Eve.
