We greatly appreciated the location (very near the centro storico) and the parking facility (this is a big plus in Lecce where parking could be a real challenge!). The house was very well equipped. Lovely stay at l'aira ecchia - ospitalità rurale. Roberta & Antonio (the owners) are incredibly friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. More than willing to help with recommendations. The rooms are recently built, spacious, and clean with updated bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a nice outside terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The breakfast is more food than you could ever want, of course, all delicious. The B&B is conveniently located just outside of Lecce. An easy drive into the town, less than 10 minutes and then you are within walking distance to old town (cars prohibited). Also easy to get to other places in Salento (eg Gallipoli, Ortanto). When we left, we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. HIGHLY recommend staying here on your visit to Lecce.
