Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

There is everything I need from Netflix to tumble dryer. Love the lighting control as it could be white or yellow and there are 3 rooms and one master bedroom with toilet. Kitchen is well equipped. It's close to Kyoto station, just a few minutes walk makes it much easier to get around. Highly recommended!

Everything was beyond perfection. we were greeted by the nicest lady who told us all about the properties and even gave us a welcome present with tea! it was very special. we had the dinner and breakfast which was very good. the facilities were so beautiful. the house is beautiful. Wonderful place to feel the history and culture of Kyoto. The guest was extremely kind and helpful and offered so much interesting and useful information about the area, about the house, and about the places we can visit. Everything is clean and kept in pristine condition, it was a very romantic and pleasant stay and we wish we could've stayed longer.
