I think it’s the perfect retreat to spend a few nights and change pace if you’ve been spending lots of time in busy hostels. Even when all rooms are occupied the hostel still feels spacious and private. We especially want to highlight the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Mery, Elvia, and Patricia pampered us endlessly, attending to our every need. Traveling with our small daughter, we were grateful for the extra care and attention they provided to her as well. The food was absolutely delightful, celebrating Colombian Caribbean cuisine with thoughtfully and generously crafted meals. All in all, this was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and will remain on our favorites list for any future trips to the region.

The chalet has a hot tub and full-day security. This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.
