The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We stayed one night. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome than in that hotel.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Nydelig sted i flotte omgivelser. Rolig og stille med beitemarker og sau rett utenfor døra. Fin tursti ned til vannet (ca 20 min rolig gåtur). Utmerket restaurant. Og egenprodusert gin.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Chestnut Tree Cottage, 7 High Street offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi. Lis and Jason (and two dogs) were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble to them. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It was a great find and hope to stay there again very soon but will make it a longer visit. The homemade brownie was a real bonus.

Cosy, comfortable accommodation for 2 of us with our dog. 10 minutes walk to Low Town with pubs, restaurants and food stores and a further 10 minutes to High Town the beautiful historic centre of Bridgnorth.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Tumbleweed Cottage is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Newark upon Trent, 15 km from Clumber Park. This quaint comfortable cottage was just the perfect place to find respite. Just a tic off the main roads, its ideal setting was a lovely place to rest at days end.
