Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Candelas do Souto is a lovely converted farm house. It has lots of charm from the outside and is modern and clean inside. There are areas inside the property that show parts of the buildings history and old working life. There is a small but beautiful garden at the back of the property that is perfect for relaxing in.

We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!

Extremely friendly family! The adult sons all spoke English well, so communication was good. They were all so proud of their Agroturismo and gave us a tour, telling a bit about their family history. We were served an appetizer soon after arrival, which included wine from their vineyard. We had a huge breakfast with a number of homemade specialties, in fact way more than we could eat!

For sure will be a place to come back again.

Smeštajni objekat Porto Smart Apartments Comfort, koji je smešten na 3 km od znamenitosti Plaža Aterro, nudi vrt i klimatizovani smeštaj sa popločanim dvorištem i besplatnim WiFi internetom. I chose the property because of its proximity to the airport and the comfort it offered to my family of seven. (My parents, husband, children and myself) The apartment seemed brand new and was beautifully decorated and had lovely furnishings. Everything was extremely clean and cozy. The a/c was a huge plus! I also liked how secure the property was and the fact that it had parking on the premises. Ana was a gracious host and was extremely helpful. Self check-in was very easy and we arrived to a very sweet welcome basket. These touches really make my day!

Quinta de Travassinhos is a magical place in the Douro Valley with beautiful views, outstanding ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!
