The thing I liked best were the host and hostess! They were so kind and friendly and generous. The breakfasts there were extraordinary - I could never eat all the food that was prepared for me! The view from my room was spectacular - I actually had two balconies off the two sides of my corner room. One view was of Mt. Etna and the upper part of Taormina. The other view was off the sea and the little island down in Lower Taormina. The wrap-around balcony was enormous with deck chairs on it and I just wanted to sit in them all day and enjoy the sunshine and the views. But I also walked down into Lower Taormina and then took the tram up to Upper Taormina. The hotel/home is well-located (for me) in between upper and lower Taormina, and I also hiked up the hill (though that was hot and sweaty) into the town to explore the streets, the Greek theatre and to enjoy the delicious food. The host and hostess also helped me with booking a tour of Etna one day; and they came to welcome me when I arrived and to see me off when I left. They were like family! This stay ranks as one of the best places I've stayed in my life....and that's saying something!

So, it was our first hotel in Sicily and it was the best days of our trip! 1. Very clean room. 2. Amazing terrace with sea view. You will enjoy it! Also, you can use deck chairs. 3. Very polite and friendly hoteliers! Housekeepers are family (husband and wife), they showed to us good places to visit, told us about popular restaurants (very good), and they are really caring about us. And every day we was found a little gift ;) 4. Good and big European breakfast on the terrace (cheese, ham, croissants, juice, coffee and tea, yoghurt, fruits and vegetables, honey and jam). 5. Very quiet atmosphere. 6. Sicilian room style. It is very local 7. BIG PLUS: the hotel is near by cable car, so you can easily travel around Taormina!!! It is not noisy* I highly recommend this hotel!

Both bedroom and dining room has big balcony and the ocean view is breathtaking! Domenico is such a wonderful host, he is happy, energetic, informative and detail focused person. The breakfast is good tasting, internet is great, bed is comfortable. We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful place!
