La Casona de Pio is the beautiful result of the renovation of a fish-salting factory, 100 metres from Cudillero Port. The property’s original stone walls look fantastic against classic furnishings, elegant woodwork and decor like that of a rural home. Loved this little village, loads of restaurants and bars. Hotel was brilliant, right in the centre, lovely bedroom, great staff, so helpful. Car park is down past the harbour but you can drop off luggage and then park. Would strongly recommend.

There is also a comfortable lounge with authentic fireplace – ideal for relaxing with friends or family. Location. Family run for many years , they knew how to do it and place was spotless. dinning room quite special, converted chapel, service excellent , efficient and fabada menu excellent value.

Casa del Pintor has a breathtaking view over the lovely Cudillero, its harbour and the sea. We enjoyed our stay very much, also thanks to the host. The host was very welcoming and helpful and gave very good tips for restaurants and other things you need as a traveller. She also told the story of the house (which belonged to a painter, and his paintings are still inside) and this gave the perfect frame for a great stay.

Situated 2.5 km from Ribadeo Town Centre, Casa Peleyon features a garden with a furnished terrace and a shared lounge with fireplace. Playa de las Catedrales is 14 km away.

Breakfast is served in the dining room and there is also a lovely terrace looking onto the gardens. The restaurant serves local dishes such as shellfish or Asturian meat for lunch and dinner. This is a beyond-magnificent hotel with a superb host, greatly needed after a long day’s walk on the camino. When we arrived, Rogelio opened the main door and warmly welcomed us inside. After getting us checked in, he walked us to our room and showed us the room’s amenities. The rooms were beautiful. Later we ate dinner in the indoor restaurant which had an open feel with its large windows to the coastal view outside. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing with calming, ambient music. The next morning we had breakfast in the same restaurant before checking out and continuing our journey on the camino with Rogelio’s kind guidance. This is the only hotel in my life where we wish we could have stayed and never left, but the camino calls and we must go… Thank you Rogelio and the staff of Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar, we hope to return again.
