El lavabo era gran amb dutxa d'efecte pluja... Teníem vistes de la catedral des de l'habitació i la vista era molt àmplia ja que no hi havia edificis alts a prop. En deu minuts a peu, estaves al centre de Colònia. Al voltant de l'hotel hi havia força bars i restaurants on poder anar a menjar. L'esmorzar era molt complet i hi havia un cuiner que et preparava ous de la manera que volguessis. La varietat de menjar estava molt bé.

This family-run hotel lies in a quiet side street, located 10 minutes from Cologne Cathedral and just 20 minutes from the Kölnmesse exhibition grounds. I travelled from Manchester UK to a gig at Burgerhaus Stollwerck and found this hotel located around 10 minutes away - I arrived at the central station from the airport and caught the 132 bus directly to Chlodwigplatz. I had read on the website that the hotel is painted green and could see it easily! This is such a relief for a traveller who knows nothing of the local language. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, advising me how to get to the venue later. In the morning I enjoyed a complementary coffee and after realising that I hadn't packed as well as I thought I was also given helpful advice on somewhere nearby to buy a cheap T shirt! I'm glad I had enough time to walk around the local area in the evening and the next morning as it's very pleasant - I was impressed by the old gatehouse in the nearby square. The room was very comfortable and good value - I didn't make use of the cafe located next door for time reasons but there were many places to grab food and drinks nearby which I used before catching a tram back to the station for the next part of my journey.

Aquest hotel de gestió privada té 3 estrelles. Està situat al centre de Colònia, a 2 km de la catedral i a 10 minuts a peu de Friesenstraße, conegut pels seus bars i discoteques tan animats. The Esplanade exceeded my expectations. I booked a room for a family of 4 which is best described as a suite. Room 1 contained a double bed, dining table and chairs, mini fridge, TV and fan, room 2 contained 2 single beds, a fan, a TV and the ensuite. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The room was serviced daily. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a good range of hot and cold items, fresh breads, juice, fruit, cheese, eggs, sausage, bacon. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the city and situated between two train/tram stops. Cologne Cathedral/city centre is only 3 stops away, Cologne Airport half an hour away and Phantasialand in Bruhl less than an hour away - all via public transport. The hotel is located on a street with many dining options- plenty of restaurants both indoor and outdoor to choose from ranging from Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Vegan and Steakhouse. Lidl is very close as are many other shops and chemists.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

NunoHotel is located on Barbarossaplatz Square in the Neustadt district of Cologne. It features modern rooms with digital satellite TV. This hotel is not located in the centre of Cologne, but south of the centre, which was very convenient for my trip (attending an event nearby). It is at a junction of several tram lines, so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. Köln Sud train station is an easy walking distance away, if you’re coming by train from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English – of course. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Free coffee on arrival was a bonus 👍

Tot genial! el personal molt amable, les habitacions molt netes, els banys i les dutxes tot i ser compratides les tenien en perfecte estat!

Set within less than 1 km of Volksgarten Park and a 15-minute walk of Neumarkt Square Cologne in Cologne, aTa & oMo offers accommodation with seating area. The host was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She also gave me a good explanation on surroundings such as restaurants, cafes etc and made sure that I will have a good stay. The room was very clean and charming. It has almost everything I needed for the long weekend stay. Thank you also for the nice easter chocolate which I found at my door as a surprise :-)

Housed in a historic building, Blue Edition Cologne offers accommodation with a bar and free WiFi in Cologne, 1.4 km from Volksgarten Park. We loved how the place was furnished and the creativity put into every detail. Very close to public transport (10 min to the bus stop, 15 min bus ride to the main station) and close to some shops and restaurants. Definitely would stay again next time we are in Köln!
