Das im Jahr 1889 eröffnete und heute weltberühmte Savoy Hotel liegt am Ufer der Themse, knapp 5 Gehminuten vom British Museum und dem Royal Opera House entfernt. Great location and even greater service. We were celebrating my son’s graduation - the Savoy staff went over and beyond in making it special. There were congratulatory balloons & chocolates in the room and judging from the ‘congratulations’ from various staff members (from the front desk to room service), everyone seemed to have ‘gotten the memo’. It made our stay extra special. In particular, I’d like to mention Genci, the loveliest doorman, who always welcomed us so warmly, and Lea of the front desk who never failed to ask about our day.
