Hotel di Tor Di Quinto, Rome

Just 300 metres from the banks of the Tiber River, the 4-star River Chateau Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Ponte Milvio bridge. We had a Junior Suite with a large bed and pull out sofa bed which was already set up when we checked in at 8 PM, what a lovely surprise! The room and bathroom were spacious, beautiful and very classy, including crystal stemwear on the bar. There was a mini-fridge bar option and some snacks for sale in the room as well as a pretty little cafe/bar downstairs in the lobby with a seating area. The breakfast was good, quite a variety of items and coffee service available from the bar. The neighborhood was very hip and busy on Friday night with tons of dining out options. It did not feel too touristy but getting along in English only was not a problem. The fitness room was sufficient and the parking attendants were very nice. I needed to be near an international school in the northern part of the city and my young adult guests wanted to play tourist so this location worked out great for us.

Grand Hotel Colony enjoys fast, regular transport links into Rome’s historic centre and is located close to the Stadio Olimpico. WiFi is free throughout. The staff was very friendly Everything corresponds to what is described and offered in the specifications offered The price/value ratio was adequate Easy to reach with car and is not to far to the bus stop

Very clean, private rooftop terrace was amazing,owner provided a care kit with lots of essentials and more couldn’t fault the hospitality and even with our extremely late arrival from airport they were more than happy to cater for us!

You should be sent an app to enter the building and the apartment. It is a spacious apartment with a large dining /lounge room area with large TV with Netflix. There is air conditioning in that room. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, microwave and oven, there is also a washing machine. There are 3 main bedrooms down one side of the apartment. Two doubles (one with en suite), a single child's room with sofa (i think with another bed which rolls out), there is main shower room too. Between the kitchen and the lounge area there is a very small single room with a en suite too. Plenty of room for 4 of us. There is a very nice balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and drinks in the early evening. The parakeets would come and perch in the trees nearby. The apartment is in a quiet area in the north of Rome. We were visiting family nearby so perfect for us but it's within walking distance (buses back after a few aperol spritzs) to Ponte Milvio which has become quite a hot spot in the evenings with lots of bars and restaurants too. Via Flamia is short walk up the road with many restaurants and shops too. Via Corso di Francia also has a number of shops, a recommended ice cream place etc. You can get the bus from via flaminia to near Vatican and from via corso to Piazza Mancini and then a tram to near the historic centre.
