The hotel has an amazing relaxing atmosphere with it's design and you feel you live in a garden. Rooms are nice, spacious and super clean! Going out and in 10-15 min walk you are in the best restaurants in Trastevere. You want to got to the Centre - 30-40 min walk, Vatican - again half hour. Awesome location close to everything and yet when you are there you feel you're not in the busy city. Great Breakfast and awesome recommendations for restaurants by the hotel - Ai Bozzi and Vanda, simply amazing! We had such a great time!

The Hotel Santa Maria is set in Trastevere, on the bank of the Tiber River, it is one of the most charming and authentic neighbourhoods of Rome's historic centre. The location is fantastic in the middle of Travestere, an quiet oasis with an orange internal "patio". Very near very good restaurants and bars and night life. Walking distance to Vatican city, Roman archelogical sites and other tourist attractions.

Cars can't get near a lot of the neighborhood, which is like Greenwich Village, so the hotel location is important. Easy walk across the river. Everything is new and nice. Breakfast on the rooftop was great.

We liked the breakfast space and the location of the property, very centric and useful if you are thinking about tourism. Designed by Baroque architect Borromini, the Donna Camilla Savelli is a former monastery in Rome's popular Trastevere area. It offers a garden, elegant and sober rooms, and free WiFi throughout. breakfast was great, room was good in size but considering it was a monastery, of course it does not have the largest windows. location was great, just walking distance from many restaurants,bars and cafes. Especially the courtyard is a great place to relax, have breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is very well too. There is also parking as well as 24 hours reception. But the most important of all is the people; all personnel was super friendly, kind and helpful in all domains of hospitality. We also had an unlucky incident where our baby got fever and they helped us in many scenarios where we felt we are not alone. Thanks for all of it!

Breakfast was really good and complete, with charcuterie cuts, cheeses, pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, and even a juicer machine and a pancakes machine. Beds were very comfy to my like (rather hard and firm feel, new mattresses). Location was perfect, and in a quiet alley by the river, just 15 minutes away on foot from Trastevere, Vatican City and Pz Navonna. To reach the hotel, bus 64 from Termini Station will serve you well leaving you just 5 minutes away from the hotel. The staff at the hotel all were vey friendly and attentive
