Located amongst the famous gardens of Monte, in the heart of this romantic and lush village in the hills above Funchal, OurMadeira - Babosas Village, gardénias and greenspaces features spacious... We liked that the staff were kind and very helpful, they really made this experience staying there really positive. The property it self was very beautiful and seemed to be new. Surrounding was clean and the view was exceptional. We had really high expectations to breakfast as we had heard great things about it, but we did not expect that breakfast would exceed our expectations, food was so delicious and gave our mornings a great start. Restaurant had a really nice outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your meal.

Dioclecio was a very friendly and helpful host and his responses when we messaged him were instant.. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mountain Eco Shelter. The location is beautiful - the lodges are in a beautiful Ecological Park full of plants and flowers. You can do hikes directly from the lodges. The lodges themselves have everything you need - a great kitchen, a comfortable bed and a balcony with a stunning view. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. There’s even a snackbar down the road where you can grab dinner & drinks. We loved every minute of our stay here and we are already planning to come back again.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Impeccable interior, spacious room, comfort, jacuzzi, grill, beautiful ocean views and even a mini-garden. Also, there is an opportunity to visit the botanical garden nearby. You feel as if you have come to friends who were really waiting for you and were glad for your arrival. The owner is always in touch and ready to help any issue, also to give advice. Separate shout-out to Alicia - she is super manager! She is always there for you. Overall you will feel welcomed here.
