Haus Mayerhofer is situated in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, a 5-minute walk from Lake Wolfgang and the Zwölferhorn Cable Car. Free WiFi and free parking are available. Barbara, the host, was amazing and super helpful with all of our requests. She suggested all the places we should go to. We liked St. Gilgen because it's a small town where you can relax near the lake and hike around the mountains in the summer. The rooms were well taken care of, ample and worked pretty great for us.

Beautiful place, quiet, view from the balcony of the mountains, cows and sheep graze around. The service is very nice and committed to helping. Free bikes. Great area for walking, cycling, mountain railway. Tasty varied breakfasts. I highly recommend.

The location is perfect, view from the room of the cows and the lake, a short walk to a private beach on the lake. The lake is clear and wasn't cold so we had a nice swim. The room is comfortable and the owner was very nice.
