Boasting a terrace and views of inner courtyard, Hostel Charino is a recently renovated guest house situated in Pontevedra, 30 km from Estación Maritima. Best hostel experience ever! We booked two beds in mixed dorm for four people. Had the whole room to ourselves. Very clean, modern, sheets and towels provided. Host provided great instructions, all staff where wonderful, so chatty in Spanish that I didn’t understand but it worked, all so caring ensuring all guests had the best experience they could. Good safe locks on all doors using pin code. Shower facilities where good size with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Two x showers and toilets in the shared bathroom on our floor. Access to free laundry. So many facilities available in the kitchen/communal area and plenty of fresh fruit, tea coffee to help yourself to. The breakfast is amazing, way to much food actually!! I would absolutely recommend this hostel and stay here again.

Excellent facility and friendly service. Really nice clean comfortable room with nice sheets & good beds. Generous breakfast buffet with pastry, toasts, cheese, deli meat, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Nice common area with kettle to boil water and table & chairs to sit and spend time outside of room.

Boasting mountain views, LA PUERTA DE ARZÚA offers accommodation with terrace, around 39 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. When you’ve walked from Palas de Rei the location of this place is perfect as it’s on the way into the town. A lovely welcome from Gema, thank you. Mr Luis is a gentleman. He cleaned my shoes for me when I arrived and gave me newspaper to stuff into them to help dry them. He speaks no English but manages to communicate anyway. The room was perfect; warm and dry with a hot shower. We had evening meal in the Pensión next door, where we were also able to dry our clothes for €3.

Situated within 48 km of Santiago de Compostela Convention Center and 49 km of Point view, Pension San Anton features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Melide. This hotel was the only one with a pool during my Camino and I really appreciated to relax the whole afternoon by the pool Everything was much appreciated , location and also breakfast.
