On the east shore of Loch Lomond, this award-winning family-run country inn is constructed from locally quarried slate and offers a perfect tranquil location for a romantic or relaxing break. This inn is surprisingly managed by capable young people. The place has an historical yet vibrant beat. The staff courtesy impressed me. Best points: position near trekking paths, the cottages stand near a great pub, breakfast was really good. You can have all you desire in a short distance from your room (there's even a grocery). My husband particularly liked their coffee and soap.

Lovely and warm, great food, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, great shower and a super location. Roast was sublime as was the beer 👏👏👏👏👏
