Marbella Guest House exceeded all of our already high expectations! It was in a perfect location, close to the historic fort, beach and restaurants. The common areas were beautiful - particularly the garden area - and our room was incredible; even better than the pictures! The breakfast was amazing and Sajjan, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We’d give this 12/10 and can’t wait to return!

Located in Candolim, The Sovereign Villa offers a garden. Each room is fitted with a balcony with a garden view. Property is very clean and hygienic. Walkable to the beach. The property owner Mr. Glen is very helpful and genuinely guides you with everything you need in Goa. Mainly I had the room from 16-18 but due to my kids school I had to change the dates 2days ahead and I was worried about last minute changes that if I could get the property to stay. Booking.com it said sold out but later I called the owner Mr Glen and told the issue and he was so kind to understand the issue and help me move my dates without any extra charges and this is only with him I think. Usually as we check in to any hotel they ask for the payment first but here till I myself opened up and asked he didn’t even ask for payment. This is very very rare. Rodrigues Guest House, a property with a garden, is located in Calangute, 500 metres from Calangute Beach, less than 1 km from Baga Beach, as well as 9 km from Chapora Fort. Definitely a place to stay in! Nandita and her family were very hospitable, helpful, and provided us with tons of good information. Room was cleaned every day and they look corespondent to the pictures. P.s. Awesome Baga Deck restaurant and bar that was just around the corner open 24/7 (recommended by Nandita) and the beach is close

Offering garden views, Pinnacle Holiday Homes is an accommodation set in Arpora, 6 km from Chapora Fort and 17 km from Thivim railway station. Brendan is an amazing host..very helpful and always smiling..

Villa Khatun is a family run Guesthouse. It is set in Panjim 1.2 km from River Cruise and located away from noisy roads and close to a pharmacy, bakery, grocery store. A truly family-run guesthouse, I would absolutely recommend Villa Khatun to those looking for a relaxing stay tucked away from the chaos of central Panaji. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed with a small fridge and kettle. Common areas are great for meeting other guests. The property has nice plants, flowers and even turtles! Alim, an excellent host all around, gives great recommendations for local sights and restaurants based on your interests.

Overlooking the whitewashed St. Sebastian Chapel, Afonso Guest House is located in the heart of Fontainhas, an old Latin Quarter. Free WiFi access is available. If you want to stay in an old traditional house right in the middle of the Latin Quarters of Fontainhas, that’s the place! The terrace is amazing, full of beautiful plants. Jeanette and her family are the best, helped me with absolutely everything, from booking car transfers to preparing the breakfast earlier before walking tours! I would definitely stay here again!

Situated in the heritage area of Campal, Vivenda Rebelo is a homestay housed in a refurbished 100-year-old Indo-Portuguese building. Beautiful historic house in a the peaceful Campal area of Panjim. Deric has made this charming property into a comfortable homestay while preserving and enhancing its antique features. The whole place has a feeling of quiet dignity, yet Deric is so welcoming it feels like home. The rooms are spacious and cool and the plants and trees are a delight. The home stay is within easy walking distance of the commercial Centre and there are taxis and a choice of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is served a few steps away across the road at a restaurant where the food is good and the service prompt and friendly. Deric is an exceptionally kind and considerate host. He checked every day that I had everything I needed and even gave me a late check out in another room because I had an evening flight. I sincerely recommend Vivenda Rebelo to any traveler who values quiet, tasteful decor, value for money, and a genuinely kind host.
