Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay at International Villa on this small, but beautiful island. The view is absolutely worth it’s price and the room was clean and modern furnished. The house offers everything you need, there is a shared space outside as well as an living room and a spacious kitchen. If you plan to cook, you won’t miss anything. Also the check-in went easy an the manager was very friendly and kind.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. The guest house is absolutely beautiful. I really liked its location.

200 metres from Rian Bunko Art Museum, Lino下伊福 is a recently renovated property located in Okayama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. It is a large accomodation for Japanese standards. It is located within a residential district where you do not come across other tourists. There is a very good sushi restaurant only 5-8 min from the accomodation.

Situated 6 km from Kyobashi no Kyokyakuato, 6 km from Okayama Baptist Church and 6.2 km from Okayama-ji Temple, oyadoyadokari - Vacation STAY 08483v provides accommodation set in Okayama. The whole place is spacious and the host provides delicious dinner for you, the location is a bit far away from city centre and major attractions but if you are driving then it will not be a problem

In the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter district of Kurashiki, close to Shinkeien Garden, 滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado has free WiFi and a washing machine. This room was so beautiful! I would move in :) The attention to detail here is insane. Highly recommended.

Located in Kurashiki, 300 metres from Shinkeien Garden and 8.4 km from Tanematsuyama Park, Temari Inn Yukikai provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. We actually changed and stayed in a two bedroom property also owned by Temari Inn called Madaromi, also located in Kurashiki Biken Historical district. Junko, the owner, was absolutely wonderful, welcoming us and showing us the apartment and telling us about Kurashiki. The apartment is gorgeous, clean, and very well appointed. It is newly renovated and so comfortable. The location is wonderful, in the historic quarter with easy access to fantastic restaurants, galleries, shrines, the river, and cute shops. It has a kitchen, and we were able to make breakfast. Junko recommended a fabulous yakitori restaurant nearby for dinner. The historic town of Kurashiki is definitely worth a visit, with beautifully preserved architecture of the Edo period surrounding a picturesque river. Our stay here was a highlight of our holiday. Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊
