I would definately stay again at this property. it was my second visit to Ukraine. i was visited in May and in June as well, my june trip was cut short, cause of p utins evil invasion..i was scared to death , when i heard the sirens, imagine what decent lovely Ukrainian folk have to endure. world needs stand up , come together and send p utin home..We ai’nt doing enough. Imagine if your neighbour say”s : hey your house, your wife, your kids, all you own is mine , and i”m taking it . if you do”nt give me all you Are and all you own, i”ll bomb the hell outta you. Yess please do visit Ukraine , show soladarity. You will love Ukrainian hospitality.

Situé à Vatra Dornei, le Pensiunea Poiana Dornei possède un jardin, un court de tennis et un barbecue. Il possède une réception ouverte 24h/24 et une aire de jeux pour enfants. The house has is new, everything was spottles clean! There were only 6 or 7 rooms for rent, but the house itself is quite big, with a large common kitchen/dining area and a huge yard, with tables, external wooden jacuzzi, kids playground, BBQ area, tennis court and a large green-grass lawn, that our husky loved even more than we did! The hosts were really nice, down-to-earth people! They didn't speak English, but were able to communicate with ease thanks to Google translate. The man of the house greeted us uppon arrival and then treated us with a welcome drink - a traditional high alcoholic beverage, like Bulgarian rakia for me and a low alcoholic cherry liquore for my wife. The lady of the house offered us coffee from the coffee machine that was on our disposal in the kitchen area, showed us around the kitchen and on the next morning (it was Orthodox Easter) she treated us with peaces of homemade cake, freshly boiled home milk and also gave us amazingly hand-painted eggs! The hospitality of these people was out of this world! We can't thank them enough for the way they made us feel at home!

The area is very peaceful and enjoyable for having a break after the noisy city life. The property owner is very friendly and helpful. I could quickly get anything I asked for. We even drove to the forest together to pick some mushrooms.

The hosts definitely enjoy people and have a gift for hospitality. ‘Don’ insisted on taking the suitcases for us, both on arrival and departure. His wife was great too. They waved us down the road as we left. I wished they spoke better English so we could get to know them better, and their grandson was very polite too. The place was immaculate and we loved the tasteful homelike decor. There was a very clean kitchen that we could use as desired, there was a coffee maker to make pot in the morning, and they even happened to have ice on hand when we asked, which we really appreciated. The closest restaurant is about 1 km down the road, and we had a wonderful supper there, Papa Turos Bukovina. Such a lovely location in the country, peaceful and quiet. We even had our own balcony to use. Would highly recommend!!!
