Spacious room and very comfortable. Walking distance to all the attractions like train station, monuments, stores, museums, and ports for Danube Delta tours. We booked a single room and a room with balcony - both have private bath and are wonderful. There's a shared kitchen with a dining area. Internet is fast in the common area for any last minute travel planning; we didn't get good signal in room. Property is extremely clean; you can tell the owner took pride in running the lodge. We got two blankets for two people without needing to ask! There's even water and a little bowl of candy waiting for you on arrival. We met the owner and his family - very friendly people and gave us great tips about transportation since we had to catch an early train next day.

Vera and Marcel have a lovely home to share and go out of their way to welcome their guests and make the stay the best possible. They provided us with everything we needed (and even more), served amazing breakfast and organized a boat trip for us. Their caring and fun personality made our interactions special. Perfect house, full equiped with a lot of things that you don t get even at 5 stars hotels. It was a lovely experience, and I'm definitely coming back next year.

The host is friendly and helpful. She always made sure that everything is all right. We asked her to prepare dinner for us (upon extra payment) and she made 3 course meal, which was great. The room we had only had roof windows and therefore was not possible to let some fresh air in as they were too high to reach. Also there was no kitchen in the property where we could prepare our breakfast. There was a space outside under the pergola where we had tea, coffee and places to sit. It is a friendly and welcoming place and it is a walking distance from the Danube river.
