Excellent appartement with only a couple of points building work is going on on the terrace, a previous occupant had spilled tomato sauce in the oven so it could not be used, one of the TV s did not work and the toaster blew the fuses!

Comfortable bed and kitchen well equipped. Washing machine useful. Shop in village about a 30 minute walk away. Breakfast basket available at an extra cost, but we didn’t utilise this option. Bed linen and towel package also available which we did order and that was fine.

For a small cottage, the lounge/dining room is very spacious and light, with patio doors onto the south facing terrace, which is next to a river over the wall. The view across the fields is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped and the boundary is secure which was ideal for our labrador. The house and the grounds are immaculate and the setting is delightful. Jean-Claude Longere was very kind and helpful about the local area. There are bicycles available.

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Le Mazel is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Saint-Agrève, 46 km from Centre Culturel et de Congrès Pierre Cardinal. We had a restful and pleasant stay. We ordered the dinner meal and it was delicious vegetarian meal. Bed was comfortable and all the equipment in the accommodation were in great condition. We would return there if in the region and maybe get a massage next time.
