Taj is an excellent host, the property has a wow factor that is off the scale for the beauty of the view and the grandeur of the terrace. Umesh is a gifted chef and looked after our every need, and the service from Rita was warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. When we come back to Ooty, which God willing, is a given, we will definitely stay at Orchard Valley Homestay, it is delightful.

The Mayflower - Heritage Villa er gististaður með garði í Alleppey, 2,7 km frá Thumpoly-ströndinni, 1 km frá Alleppey-vitanum og 2,3 km frá Mullak Rajarajeswari-hofinu. wonderful host, delicious Indian breakfast and host organised our tour and was amazing.

Ammus Homestay er staðsett í Thekkady á Kerala-svæðinu og er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. It can b called a home away from home with a very caring and concerned host who is by profession a retired nurse. The day we reached our kids were sick bad cold fever and Amma the host suggested some medicines. Arranged hot drinking water as and when required as we adults were also bad with cold. Did arrangements of activities if . The best place we stayed in the whole of Kerala tour. All credits to Amma.... Her hospitality made us stay a day extra. Best place for family with very reasonable rate.

Ghar - Homestay, With Family Lives Together er í innan við 19 km fjarlægð frá Ooty-vatni og 11 km frá Sim-garði í Aravankādu. Boðið er upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Absolutely beautiful in the hills outside of Coonoor. The hosts were so nice, dinner was absolutely delicious some of the best food I’ve had in India. The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I was a little sick when I arrived and couldn’t enjoy much but the hosts brought me tea and really cared for me. They also helped me book taxis.

Maliyeckal Homestay er staðsett í Munnar, í aðeins 19 km fjarlægð frá Munnar-tesafninu og býður upp á gistirými með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. If you want to feel like home during your journey - definitely stay in this place! This is like Paradise situated in beautiful area with garden full of spices. The family is so kind and welcoming that it was a pleasure to spend time with them. Owner's sons showed us neighbourhood and played cards with us so we didn't have a change to be bored! We also met wonderful people -other travellers there. The house is a little bit away from Munnar But the city is not very interesting. For exploring the Munnar area- tea plantations(note to visit lockhart!), Waterfalls etc its nice to rent motorbike or hire rickshaw or jeep. But still even if you just stay at home and do nothing - you will enjoy the time! The room is nice and spacious, we had nice balcony and hot (really hot!) Water in the bathroom (not in shower but you can use buckets as its common in India). The food at home is light and healthy! And chutney powder is the best in the world. We had also a chance to join the ladies in cooking and even catch a fish for dinner! We are really grateful for our time in Maliyeckal homestay and hope to come again one day!
