After I dropped my phone in the sea they helped me printing ferry and flight tickets, Nunu gave all great tips about what to do on the island(with the map) and Sofia even brought me and Andreia to the airport! Also the lady of breakfast was very friendly and workawayer Lucy. Don’t forget the amazing dog Tejo. The place feels like home, very relaxed! Super clean and organized. I really liked staying in Jaca hostel. It felt like a real hostel. We were spending time together so had a chance to meet someone and plan activity. Burgers were yummy dont skip on those. Deffinitely will be back

Situated in Machico, 200 metres from Sao Roque Beach, Modern & Recycled Guest House features views of the city. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

Located in Funchal and with Marina do Funchal reachable within 2 km, FX Pena provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Nice owner, clean shared bathrooms, fully equipped shared kitchen, 10 minutes walk to the centre. Good price. We were quite happy!

Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, Jaca Hostel Funchal is set in Funchal, 800 metres from Almirante Reis Beach. If I said everything it will non. But hostel is amazing. Localisation is perfect, you can walk everywhere from hostel. Nice local coffee shops around. Very clean place, super helpful, kind and funny staff. I slept in different hostels but this one is more then hostel. Totally recommend. And I am very thankful 😊😊
