Enjoy your stay in this newly refurbished 1930’s apartment built in Bauhaus style with its Billiard room. The fully equipped 3 room home is furnished in original Retro style including wondrous, funky pieces from the 40’s up to 80’s as a heritage of the family. Fantastic B&W photos and period posters will guide you through the changes of old Budapest in the last century. Bleak House (87m2) has spacious and bright rooms including a classic bedroom, a separated livingroom and a billiard room with rex table, card-table and kids corner. Kitchen with dining area is fully equipped, bathroom with double bath and candles is ready for relaxation or for children to play. In the bedroom you’ll find a small dressing table suitable for putting on a make up or doing some work on your laptop. Living room works as a second bedroom, if you wish you can close all doors and can be separated. Our home is suitable for you even if you are on business, you have family with small kids or if you want to spend nice time with friends. Bed sizes (2 single kid size bed) allows comfortable stay up to 4 adults & 2 children.

Traveling is like fresh air for us! We've seen many places, tried several various accommodations from student hostels, through solitary guesthouses up to luxury apartments or hotel rooms. That gave us the idea to create a home away from home for those visiting our beautiful city of Budapest. We tried to put in some extra touches to fill our guests with luxury feeling and some historical background to challenge them to discover Budapest with a different point of view.

The apartment is in the historical district just a few minutes from Danube, Turkish Bath, Roman Ruins (Amphitheatre, Aquincum), Margaret Island, Sziget Fest and the city centre. Buda Castle, Parliament and Galleries are also easy to reach. In the neighbourhood you'll find promenade with bars restaurants, cafes, shopping facilities. Several public transport is awailable in 2 minutes distance (trams, buses, HÉV). There are several sights around that can be reached on foot. You have to pay for parking in this district.
