Situé au sommet d'une colline de 100 mètres surplombant la réserve forestière de Kinabatangan, l'établissement The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se trouve à Bilit, à 2 minutes de route du magnifique... Everything was great, we loved our stay and didn’t want to leave at all! We were picked up by our gracious host who told us a lot about Borneo. After ascending the 600 step stairs, the view from the restaurant was amazing. Furthermore we saw a lot of wildlife on the boat trips!

The lodge is amazing and it is location is readily and easily found within the Waze App. Signs to go to the place are easily seen so you wont get lost. Although the small stretch of roads heading to the lodge was rocky and bumpy, it was still a great experience! Location was beautiful and the view is just immaculate. Wonderful and helpful staff! Do prepare some mosquito patches for yourself if you need it. If not, you are good to go! And the parking space is limited, so plan ahead when you are renting a car to drive to this place!

Entouré d'une végétation luxuriante, le Tampat do Aman propose des hébergements à Kg Tiga Papan, à 30 km de Kudat. I was told of this place by a fellow traveller and I'm glad I listened to her. I loved that it felt like I was off the beaten track. Howard and his family made me feel so welcomed as soon as i arrived. He spent time with all guests each day having great chats. There's plenty of various types of accommodation. I stayed in the longhouse and it was fantastic. Howard is also highlighting the Rungus people (the local indigenous tribe) I loved that Howard is managing the place with an eco consciousness, starting with the compostable toilets! On one of the mornings I even participated in International Coastal Clean Up day along with all the locals at the local beach. I'm happy I stayed the 3 days. I definitely could've spent more time just doing not much but had to get back to catch my flight home.
