Pousada Kabana de Pedra is 10 km from Licuri Waterfall and 50 km from Barra da Estiva Bus Station. On-site parking is free. Rubia was extremely accommodating. My wife is vegan, so Rubia went above and beyond to ensure she had great food available. Everyone was super nice and the property is located in the beginning of the road to the waterfalls. We'll return to Ibicoara and stay there again

Getting to Igatu is quite an adventure (some could say quite a challenge), but all is forgiven once you get to the Pousada. The place is charming and well located. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a trip back to David’s childhood with tropical fruits, countryside Brazilian coffee and all the Nordeste treats you can find in Bahia. 10 out of 10.

There were always some vegetarian options and you could order fresh tapiocas, cuscus or eggs. The hotel is close to the city center, on a hill with a gentle slope and a minimarket nearby. Despite being close to the center, the hotel itself is very quiet. Our room had a silent AC and we haven't heard any other guests at night.

The eco-friendly hotel is elegantly decorated and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. The property was gorgeous and in a beautiful setting, next to the river and waterfall. Impeccably maintained with new rooms. The staff was awesome, nice and helpful. I reached out to them prior to my stay and asked for a recommendation for the hotel-airport transfer since the hotel is about 30 min away. They recommended an awesome guide who could pick me up at the airport but could also arrange and drive us to local attractions. Deyclon (guide) was great, nice and not pushy relative to any of the attractions. His price was about the same as others too. He even arranged a visit to a small alambique where local cachaça is made so we could see how it was made. Everything was great and I give them (guide and hotel) a 5 star review on everything! The breakfast at the hotel was fabulous as it is typical in Brazil with a wide variety of items (fruits, cakes, breads, juices) plus some hot options prepared upon request. Ee had dinner twice there and food was good too. Price was a little bit higher than in town but definitely prepared by a chef and the dining area setting (next to river/waterfall) unbeatable! Simply awesome! I would highly recommend this hotel! Price is high but you absolutely get what you paid for!
