We arrived early and they upgraded our room. The balcony was a nice refuge from the rain. The hotel is upgrading the backyard for more hot tubs and places to just enjoy the outdoors. The beach was flooded but the lake access is underrated. It is stunning. And the local kayak rental is located on the beach. We could've rented kayaks and paddled into the Quilliam-Durrell Reserve behind the hotel. A place to spot all sorts of birds and wildlike. I'd return in the autumn.

Small cozy rooms that have plenty of storage space. Nice front porch and beautiful views. The property is in a very nice location but a bit out of the way but nothing crazy.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Domaine Dorchamps is situated in Lac-Brome, 36 km from Palace de Granby and 39 km from Zoo Granby. This B&B is absolutely exceptional! The place is gorgeous, with beautiful artwork and antiques; the breakfast should be Michelin star rated; the wrap around porch with comfy chairs and sofas is so inviting that it is difficult to get motivated to start all the tourist items you had so assiduously planned to do; the bedding is like being surrounded by clouds; and the owners have thought of every detail, from Bvlgari soaps and shampoos to the Nespresso machine in the room to the daily fresh cookies by the bed . I have travelled a lot and I can honestly say I have never stayed in such a sumptuous bed and breakfast. And never in one that was so relaxing.
