There is even a tranquil little lake just a few minutes walk distance from the house. For a peaceful forest getaway with exceptional service and natural beauty, this hotel is a definite must-visit.

Ligger mittemellan centrum och tågstationen. Nära tågstationen ligger också de allra flesta vinhusen i Tokaj. Stans enda riktiga supernarket ligger tvärs över gatan. Rymliga rum. 2 stora fönster, varav 1 har insektsnät. De flesta rummen ligger mot ”den lugna sidan”. Väldigt serviceinriktad personal i receptionen. Allt var flexibelt. Hör bor jag gärna igen.

Gróf Degenfeld Castle Hotel passar perfekt för vin- och naturälskare. Hotellet har ett vackert läge i Tarcal, i hjärtat av vinregionen Tokaj-Hegyalja. Very nice castle like experience within a great location, surrounded by wineyards and nature. The staff was extremely helpful and proactive. We wanted to rent e-bikes and go around the area. They helped with the process and even though it was difficult to find bikes available on such a short notice, they did all their best to find someone to rent us the bikes and thus saving the day. On top of that, they helped with the transportation to and from the rental place. We thank you for all the effort! We had a great time at the place and for sure will visit again!

Delicous food in the restaurant. A good starting point for exploring the Tokaj wine district or hiking / birdwatching in the Zemplen Mountains. I'd like to stay longer.
