Situated in the northern Iceland coastal village of Saudárkrókur, this property is 90 minutes’ drive from central Akureyri. It offers free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and an outdoor geothermal hot tub. This is an annexe attached to the oldest hotel in town. We had the biggest room and a view as well. There was heaps of space for our bags and cold weather gear. (We had a lot) Breakfast was very good, in a basement dining room that was decorated with heaps of memorabillia. There was a private natural hot spring in the grounds that was nice and hot. Staff were lovely and did our washing for us.

This summertime property is set in a student accommodation building in Saudárkrókur. It offers a TV lounge and rooms with a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is free in the reception. easy parking and very friendly staff

Historic building within a working farm, sheep and horses nearby, which we loved! Phenomenal view. Fully furnished kitchen, very comfortable bed. Easy self checkin. Parking just outside the gh. Bathrooms are small but cleverly structured and were ok to use.

Clean and comfortable bedroom. Brilliantly well equipped kitchen stocked with eggs, cheese, bread, cereal and coffee from the farmhouse. Good communication from friendly host. Clean and spacious bathroom. Good hot tube position away from the house to optimise night sky viewing.

Comfortable bed/pillows, fully equipped kitchen and a large private bathroom as well. You can self check in with the key located in a key box with 4-digit code. Thanks for the experience!

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Steinn Farm Private Apartment is set in Sauðárkrókur in the North Iceland Region. The apartment has a panoramic view over the fjord. We were arriving in very snowy conditions in the winter and the host cleaned the road for us. In general very hospitable persons, we made a tour to their sheep farm and our kids played around with a dog. House is very clean and location is fantastic overseeing directly the ocean.
