We had such a lovely stay at Villa Thamburu. The whole premise is just amazing. Very boutique but everything was 5 star. A lot of thought has gone into create such a beautiful sanctuary. The little touches - like locally made Barefoot linen robes etc really added to the 'premium' feel of the place. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us - even tracking my daughter down a boogie board so she could have fun on the beach. The breakfasts were amazing - and the quality of the food to die for. Can't wait to make it back - absolutely 5 (if not 6 stay) boutique accomodation on a stunning beach.

The rooms are huge and modern, one of the best beds we had in Sri Lanka. Really great value for money. The breakfast is huuuge and so tasty. All the staff were really helpful and so nice. It's a short walk to one of the best beaches in Ahangama. I would definitely come back!

Room and the bathroom was very clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities which has any star rated hotel would have. Spacious and cozy. Bathroom had a bathtub with a jacuzzi facility. Samodaya, the care taker cum manager took care of all the needs we wanted without a trouble. Breakfast was really good. More than what we expected. We met the owners as well. Very humble and polite. Very reasonable with the price as well. Overall, very good place to stay, work, or leisure. Highly recommend place.

Delicious and well-priced food in the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable. Will recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. Just beautiful!

Green Escape Unawatuna has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Unawatuna. The Green Escape is beautiful, it is tucked into a quiet, lush green space with a beautiful welcoming pool. We had a lovely room on the second floor of a two room bungalow and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the birds. I loved all the outdoor spaces - the restaurant was indoor/outdoor and despite the heat, it was always comfortable because of the ceiling fans.
