Thambu illam was one of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka! I felt at home and comfortable. The staff were amazing including the night time security, Joseph, who kept us company and shared his story while we stayed up past midnight. Mathu the manager checked in with us when we didn’t arrive on time for our booking and he responded quickly to messages. The supervisor was exceptionally helpful and got us almost anything we requested for our meals. Thambu illam brings you a feeling of being in your ancestral home and the little details they paid attention makes it even magical. We will definitely come back here to stay with our family on our next trip.

El North Gate by Jetwing se encuentra en Jaffna, a 1,2 km de la biblioteca pública de Jaffna y a 1,6 km del templo Nallur Kandaswamy, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, wifi gratis en todas las... Convenient location right next to railway station but also quiet. Spacious and attractive room, pool was clean and refreshing. Some of the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Staff was attentive and welcoming and always ready to help, from the front desk to the restaurant Special appreciation for the young woman at front desk (Ms Thanthoty ? sorry for misspelling ) who helped me book my onward bus ticket.

We spent 3 nights at the Hertiage Hotel and had the best time. The facilities are outstanding, the staff is super nice. Breakfast is superb. Having access to a pool in the heat of Jaffna is priceless. Great vegetarian food options around the corner. Rios Ice Cream is loved by locals and you should try it as well.

El Jaffna Inn ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Jaffna, a 1 km de la estación de tren de Jaffna y a 1,2 km de la biblioteca pública de Jaffna. It is a nice and quiet modern hotel with good facilities. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is a fridge in the room and and tea making facilities in the lounge area outside the room. We were given two small bottles of water on arrival. The shower works well with good hot water, once you get it adjusted properly. There is a shower screen too, but like all bathrooms in Sri Lanka the bathroom floor still gets wet. The air conditioner works well and the room also has a large ceiling fan. The hotel is well located just 1.6 kilometers from Jaffna Fort and about a kilometre from the rooftop bar at the Jaffna Jetwing Hotel. Breakfast was not included but is available, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a good place to stay.

El Yal's Town Inn se ubica en Jaffna, a solo 2,5 km del centro. Ofrece conexión wifi gratis. The staff is really nice and friendly. Food was exceptional Totally worth the paying amount. Also as the inn located in the middle of the town we can travel anywhere around with ease Definitely recommend for anyone even solo or with a group this is a safe place to stay.
