The Location was very beautiful. A little hard to find. The funniest thing was in the morning, the workers scared a monkey with a mask because they want to steal the breakfast 😂😂

An astonishing location, exactly as seen in the photos, with a comfortable balcony offering a great view of the Nine Arches Bridge. The host was very friendly, and the room was meticulously decorated. They even provided games for guests to play. Although there was no air conditioning, it didn't bother us as the evening temperature was pleasant. Just be mindful that there are more insects around, given the mountainous area.

하푸탈레에 자리한 Vantage hills Haputale에서는 정원, 무료 전용 주차장, 테라스, 레스토랑 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 그레고리 호수에서 44km 거리에 있습니다. 해당 3성급 호텔에는 무료 Wi-Fi를 비롯해 룸서비스, 24시간 프런트 데스크 등이 구비되어 있습니다. 하푸탈레 메인 시내와 가깝습니다. 5분 정도로 배낭메고도 충분히 걸을 수 있는 위치에요. 살짝 골목을 지나가야하지만 밤늦은 시간 제외하면 이동하는데 문제 없었어요. 비교적 최근에 생긴 곳이라 그런지, 스리랑카에서 보기 힘든(?) 현대적인 감각의 인테리어와 SNS 자랑할 법한 멋진 뷰가 펼쳐져 있는 아름다운 숙소예요. 하푸탈레 물가에 비해 숙소 가격대가 조금 있었지만, 따뜻한 물도 잘 나오고 방 공간도 넓고, 테라스의 푸른 뷰를 보면 충분히 만족이 되었어요. 인기가 많아 예약이 어려운 숙소라 (방이 몇 개 없는 것 같았어요) 아쉽게도 하푸탈레의 다른 숙소에서 2박을 머무르다가 1박만 묵었는데 며칠 머무른다면 조금 비싸더라도 여기를 선택할 것 같네요. 24년 1월 1일 조식을 먹었는데, 스리랑카 전통음식을 풍성히 준비해주셔서 기분 좋게 새해를 시작할 수 있었어요. 사장님과 매니저 분들도 모두 친절합니다. 여행 중 궁금한 점들을 여쭤보시면 도움을 얻을 수 있을 거예요.

The location is great, 5 minutes of walking from the busy main road which is just perfect. The hosts, Obey and his wife, are spectacular! My partner didn't feel well and they helped us with everything we needed and even more! The room is spacious and has everything you need, from shower amenities to a mini fridge and a kettle. The breakfasts were delicious! I recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast. Air conditioning worked very good as well. Overall I highly recommend it. Thank you Obey!

Perfect location close to Ella and its amenities but also a welcome escape from the noise and activity that the town has. From our warm greeting upon arrival to the time we left, the staff were amazing and cannot do enough for you. VIraj has an excellent knowledge of all things Ella, the surrounding areas, and his whole country. He is happy to provide ideas of locations to visit, without pushing you to participate into organsied activites you may not want. Our room was large, the most spacious we have enjoyed in our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Included were a large and comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom (with a full bath), extra chairs to sit on and tea, coffee and water facilities. Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. Excellent airconditioning. The room had a fantastic large balcony overlooking the town and is a welcome retreat during the day or when you return from a day out and want to relax. A beautiful view of the lights of Ella and surrounding hillsides at night. On top of the building is a rooftop deck, with some chairs and a table, great for a sunrise view or sunset drink, enough space for your daily yoga. While wi-fi in the room was not particulaly strong, it was very good in the dining area. Breakfast was plentiful and they did well to accommodate our specific dietary needs. However, the dinner was extra delicious, so much so, we participated in the cooking classes they offer in their small kitchen onsite. You can tailor your classes to the specific dishes you want to cook. Under head cook Buddika, his second cook Ruwan and the guidance of Lahiru, we not only had heaps of fun, but learnt many techniques for sucessful Sri Lankan cooking and how to use spices and herbs to create delicious local flavours. An additional bonus, they also only use locall products in their cooking. And the meal to finish was so good! We left reluctantly and miss the whole team at Cozy Cottage Ella. Definitely recommend it here!

It was very clean and had great service! I arrived late and they got me a fresh fruit plate which I very much appreciated.
