Aziz and his wife, Khadija, and the rest of the staff were wonderful, welcoming, and fun. He took us on a tour of the nearby ruins and the Centreville. It was our friends' 27th anniversary and Aziz and his family threw a surprise party. Khadija baked a delicious cake and they decorated the salon for music and dancing. We really enjoyed dancing with them! I cannot over emphasize how welcomed we were - it was the pinnacle of Moroccan hospitality. There was strong WiFi in the common patio/dining room which was lovely and offered a moonlight view. Dinner was a delicious lemon chicken tajin with Soupe Harare. The rooms were spacious and clean but ours was a little too warm because the windows did not open to the outdoors. We hope to return someday. Thank you, Aziz!!!

Kasbah Tissint heeft een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant in Tissint. Het pension biedt zowel gratis WiFi als gratis privéparkeren. Het hotel bevindt zich aan de rand van het dorp (leuk om even door te wandelen), vlakbij de cascade (kleine waterval). Op 900 meter is een mooie plek waar twee riviertjes samenkomen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Je voelt je erg welkom. De kamer is ruim en de bedden zijn prima. De badkamer is ruim met prima douche. Ontbijtbuffet is goed en lekker. ‘s avonds hebben we er ook diner gehad. Ze hadden leuk gedekt bij het zwembad en het eten was heel erg goed en lekker.

MAISON D'HOTE DAR IMRANE ligt in Tata en heeft een tuin en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Er is een Marokkaans restaurant en er is gratis privéparkeren. Amazing host, very nice place!

Ryad lcaid heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Tissint. De accommodatie biedt een gedeelde keuken, roomservice en bagageopslag voor gasten. We stopped in Tissint on our dual sport motorcycle trip and we were more than tempted to stay another night as this property, the host and his village were for lack of better words special. Asiz (sp?) was the most kind, generous and welcoming host we have met on any travels. His cooking was exceptional. The tagine for dinner and egg dish for breakfast were OUTSTANDING ! His warm smile truly was the Moroccan experience we were looking for. Not to mention the property was breath taking. Over 400 years old. Be sure to spend some time in the indoor “living room”. A perfect place for yoga / meditation/ reading it simply to relax with a cup of tea.

Bivouac les nomades is een woestijnkamp midden in de duinen van Chegaga. It was unbelievable experience. The way to the camp was adventure as we had a tour on the way to the camp - 4x4 ride through the desert with really interesting rock formations (tajin mountain, oasis, fossils, tea break in the the restaurant in the middle of the desert). Once we got to the camp we could see a lovely sunset from the nearby dunes. At night there was a dinner (tajin, veggies, lots of fruits) and campfire with traditional songs. In the morning we had a camel ride during the sunrise. Breakfast (joghurt, egg-based tajin dish, bread, fruits, honey, jam, tea & coffee). The tenets are clean and cosy with clean linen, it was warm at night. You will also get towels. Bathroom also clean. No bugs or anything what we would be scared of. All in all- we got much more than we expected. The location is just amazing. You can see not only sand dunes but all kind of desert on the way, interesting rock formations and mountains. It is really best place to experience the desert.
