It has a few seating areas and is a very friendly place to stay. There's a lovely noticeboard with travel tips or you can book tours ( Edith travels) easily with the hostel that pick you up.

I also loved how clean and functional everything was. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Kudos to Brenda, Danielle and Yada for being such great hosts. They helped make our stay super comfortable. They even provided suggestions for activities and places to see in the city. The reception smells so good. I couldn’t get enough of the ambiance of the hotel.

Fantastic little cabanas in a quiet area at the edge of town away from the busier centro. My partner and I loved our stay. Reonaldo was a fantastic host! Super attentive and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. You really notice the attention to detail and design he and his wife put into the property. He has bicycles that he lends out for free to guests which was very helpful to get around town. Breakfast of coffee and fresh fruit and granola was perfect for starting the day. And you can't beat having the beach just a few steps away. Not to mention Celestun is a birding paradise!

Puerto del cielo is a super cute family run hotel in a lovely peaceful spot by the sea, and away from the toursit bustle of Progresso to the East. Jill and Randy were the most helpful and lovely hosts who really looked after me, including hooking me up with a bike rental and pointing me towards local rustic spots to grab food. The rooms are incredibly nice and tastefully done, and I loved my twenty yard stroll down into the warm ocean then sits in the thatch covered veranda watching the waves and writing. I will come again.

Hintataso on paljon halvempi kuin rantakohteissa. ADO-bussilla pääsee Chitchen Itzaan edestakaisin 6 eurolla. Taksimatka edestakaisin alueen kauneimpiin cenoteihin Palomitas ja Aqua Dulce maksaa vähän päälle 10 euroa suuntaansa. Kaupunki vaikuttaa turvalliselta myös yksin matkustaville.
