The hotel was a nice refuge in Saint Louis fro the dust and trash of the town. The owner/ manager was nice and professional. He greeted me by my name when I arrived. The 2nd floor room was large enough with a basic bed, wall AC, a desk, and a fridge. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. There was a central "atrium" to let in air and light to the rooms. The 1st breakfast area was fine

One of the girls at reception was particularly wonderful ( Silvia) who helped us with a couple of issues we needed to resolve. Fortunately she spoke really good Spanish and was able to translate for us. She even helped us via telephone during her time off. Thank you so much Silvia!

This hotel is set on the Langue de Barbarie, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Senegal River. Guests are free to use the outdoor pool or relax in a deckchair on the sun terrace. I spent amazing time at the hotel. The stuff were my highlight. They made me feel like home. The location was fabulous, the rooms were lovely, the dinner was delicious. The best thing was the staff who were absolutely fabulous and so very kind and understanding. We're all hoping to return to Hotel Ganiol in the future as they staff were so great. I wish them the very best for the future and hope their business will thrive.

The location was very central, close to Place Baya, but on a quiet street. The staff and family were very welcoming and hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The room was comfortable with AC, a mosquito net around the bed, and there was a lovely private courtyard to sit in, as well as the use of a fully equipped kitchen.
