“Breakfast was a shock - provided in an odd upstairs room with a range of ill assorted items of old furniture and appliances. Various cereals, 1 white and 1 brown sliced loaf. 2 toasters- 1 broken . Almost empty tub of Utterly Butterly. Half empty jars of jam. Range of strange cold items Inc baked beans, cucumber and and unidentifiable things which looked like dips. Water for kettle via tap sticking out of wall. Very bad instant coffee. Mugs with notice saying "For tea ONLY". Small cups for coffee. A very strange experience. Not what one expects for a buffet breakfast. We went to McDonald's. To be honest our small room was fine - very clean, newly decorated, new cheap IKEA furniture, new carpet and curtains. Bedding spotless and the ONE towel provided was fluffy and obviously brand new. The ensuite was very tiny, but but shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was extremely comfortable.”

“Not too far from train station or the town. Hopped onto bus and got to both even quicker!”
