  “The owner was very helpful to park the car, there is no parking space in the old city. He is also very willing to give advise or help you if needed. There is a good Turkish breakfast on the terrace with a view. The hotel is clean. Location is right in the old city and you can walk to all the main locations and restaurants.”

  “This hotel is in near mardin square so location is very good. Host was very friendly and kind. I was blown away hospotality of elderly gentleman. I stayed traditonal style clean and cozy room. In the morning you can enjoy fantastic Kahvaltı. Kahvalti in this hotel is greater than any other restaurants.”

  “Carra Konagi has a fabulous location, elevated but within the old city with fantastic views over the Mesopotamian plans. The hotel is within the heritage UNESCO city. It has been rebuilt accordingly and has all the comforts of modern conveniences and the charm of the ancient world. Even more charming is the warmth of reception by the owner, Nuh Yildrim and his staff.”

  “The owner was extremely helpful, and remained in constant contact when I had a very delayed border crossing from Iraqi Kurdistan and I ended up arriving in the early hours of the morning. This set the tone for the rest of my stay - very attentive and helpful, and I ended up extending my stay and my room was upgraded for no extra cost. He also spoke excellent English (as well as various other languages). The hotel is in an excellent central location in the absolutely beautiful and historic town of Mardin.”
