Our hosts Alexandra and Peter could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The hotel is set in a beautiful rural area full of orchards and has a couple of amazing chestnut trees in the front garden - a fabulous place for a cold beer on a hot day. The hotel has been meticulously renovated and is very picturesque and comfortable. The view of Lake Constance from our room was stunning. Everything was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. We cannot recommend it highly enough!!!

Everything was perfect. The room was nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious. And the torte in the Konditorei were fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they made my stay an absolute joy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for those arriving by car. There’s also a bus stop nearby, so you can leave your car at the hotel and easily explore Lindau Insel. (This means you don’t need a designated driver.)

We ended up staying 3 nights and what a fabulous hotel! Absolutely loved it, a great gem in a good spot where the lake is 3 mins walk away. There is a bus to Lindau Island but to be honest we spent our time at the lake where the hotel was to avoid the bustle of the Island. The Owner and staff were brilliant!
