Firstly the location is perfect, quiet but close to everything in town. The apartment is spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable and had everything you might need. Véronique is a fantastic host, on hand for any questions you may have and gave us lots of useful information when we arrived.

The valet crashed our rental car, but the manager of the hotel and staff where extremely helpful. They really did a good job. The day the car was crashed the offered free lunch and a beautiful tour in the afternoon plus the staff helped us get another rental car the next day. I truly recommend the hotel.

The owners welcomed us and their dog, Sisi was an amazing ambassador. The views were beautiful and we could use the pool and garden if we wanted. You do need a car though as it is about a 15 min drive from Aix City Centre. The overall vibe, with the lovely trees, herbs and wisteria is so relaxing and calm. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of local produce which was delicious. Rooms were tastefully renovated with all modern amenities and comfy bed and pillows. The welcome from Clémant and Sarah and their children and their friendly boxer dog were what made the visit extra special. Clémant grew up in the Chateau and is very knowledgeable about the highlights of the local area and it’s restaurants. It was also lovely to have the time to relax by the swimming pool.

The rooms are perfectly appointed with a lovely garden / pool area to relax. Clément’s hospitality makes everything extra special (fantastic breakfast selection and advice on the local area). Located just 10 minutes outside of Aix, we found it very easy to Uber into town and contrary to some reviews, did not find the motorway nearby to be noisy at all (the chàteau is well set back behind private gates). Would could not praise highly enough and cannot wait to return!

Sainte-Victoire. Apartment (it was an upgrade) was very roomy with lots of storage and lovely bathroom. Parking in dedicated underground car park was ideal. Common areas are nice and relaxed but with understated style. Breakfast was miles ahead of typical UK chain of this sort. Would use this chain again in other locations.
