The delicious breakfast buffet consists of mostly local produce as well as homemade jams. In the evenings, guests can relax on the terrace with a good Saxon beer or wine. Beautiful location. Clean room. Very lovely breakfast with homemade specialty jams etc. that even included vegan options (when requested). Staff was very kind and helpful. Contactless check-in when you come outside of check-in hours. A perfect place to rest up and enjoy nature. Parking was available and pets were allowed. Even though we didn't bring any we love meeting others' pets on holidays.

Free WiFi access is available and the area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Lovely idyllic hotel with a truly personal welcome and service. The building oozes character and charm: bedrooms modern, perfect size and facilities. Great breakfast. Dinners which can be had if pre-ordered are superb. The hotel is just above the road, which itself is quiet. Footpaths into the woods and mountains within a couple of minutes. Located just outside Bad Schandau, a 30 minute walk or 10 minutes by the famous tram which stops outside (bus also, but why use this!) We had no car, only used public transport, or walked - it was perfect. There is so much to see and do in and around Bad Schandau, and this is the perfect hotel to base yourself.

Breakfast is served at the property, and a restaurant is located 30 metres from the property where regional dishes are served. Guests are welcome to relax with a drink in the lobby, which also has a separate smoking area, or enjoy a homemade cake in the café. Everything was great, a big room, modern bathroom, comfy bed. We got a nice variety of homemade jams for breakfast, interesting salads we've never seen before. The location is great for hiking routes and also not far from Dresden (30min drive). The owner was very welcoming and provided very nice tips on local sights and hikes.

Our beautiful holiday home is close to the center and only a few minutes' walk from the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Modernly furnished with Italian flair. Have breakfast on our beautiful terrace or in the conservatory. Use our 24/7 bar and enjoy... Great hotel near the centrum of Bad Schandau. The staff speaks germen and sometimes also czech. Great location for if you would like hiking in near national park.

My husband & I both appreciated the service provided by every member of the staff. We speak very little German, and found that they went above & beyond to speak English , to understand our questions & point us in the right direction.

There is a full restaurant with a bar and a large furnished terrace at the hotel. Breakfast is offered each morning and packed lunches are available. Free WiFi access is offered in all areas. Besutifuly appointed apartment in the Center of town. very clean, comfortable, nice beds and linen. Very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything one needs for cooking. Close to everything. Very good value for expensive Bad Schandau. Staff was outstanding.

The hotel has a spa centre and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. We traveled by bikes to Bad Schandau so we could store them in a bike storage (they have 2 storages for bikes and e-bikes). the staff at hotel was very kind, smiling and helpful, we also received free pass for travelling by bus & train in the surroundings. The breakfast was fabulous and beds were comfortable.

Lots of unique outdoor spaces to relax in. I liked that there were bottled refreshments (including beer/wine) available for purchase on the honor system. Location was pretty and quiet.
