The beach is around 800 metres from the guest house. The room comes with a double bed and a single bed . It’s perfect for my family of three . The staff are friendly and there is a shared microwave and hot water kettle to use.

The staff went over and above and we booked in a wine tasting with the chef of the restaurant and it was amazing!!

They even brought gluten free bread to my friend who had told them she couldn’t eat gluten but hadn’t asked for anything special. Manuel checked in with us to be sure we were happy throughout our stay. Lovely!

Casa do Cactus was beautiful, hosts were very friendly and helpful as well as discreet. The garden is lovely, with turtles wandering around. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with all needed facilities. Although the bed was a little small it was a very comfortable and friendly stay.

This place presents high quality standards at a pretty reasonable price. A small property of 6 terraced houses, all with a spacious bedroom and living room with kitchen. Very well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with warm bread, croissant, and cakes just out of the woven. The swimming pool and the view of surroundings is super pleasant. Very good for family with kids, the baby crib was very good quality and the sofa bed for the child also good and spacious. The location is quiet, though the walls between houses are pretty thin and not sound-proof. The drive to nearest town (Cercal) is 10min, there are good restaurants there. And the drive to seaside is 20-30 min but there are many wonderful beaches to explore in this part of Alentejo so this is a great base :)
