Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Onsen Guest House Tsutaya is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Hakone, 6.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Kellemes környezetben, a hegyek árnyékában található a hotel. A személyzet udvarias, kedves és segítőkész. Bármilyen kérdésünk, problémánk volt, abban rögtön a segítségünkre siettek. A szobánk egy hagyományosan berendezett japán stílusú szoba volt, kényelmes futon matracokkal, tradícionális japán yukata "pizsamákkal". Izgalmas volt kipróbálni ezt a fajta alvást, de biztosan állíthatom, hogy kényelmes és pihentető a padlón, matracon való alvás. A szállodán belül papucsban kell közlekedni, amit biztosítottak a számunkra. Az onsen férfi és női részre volt elválasztva, mindkettő izgalmas lmény volt. A külső onsen használatát javaslom, mert kellemesebb az időjárás, és hallani lehet a szálloda mellett csörgedező patak morajlását, a természet hangjait. Az onsenbe való belépés előtt le kell fürödni, ez gyerekkel kicsit körülményes volt, de megoldottuk! A szálláshely második szintjén társalgó van, könyvekkel, társasjátékokkal és egy kitűnően felszerelt konyhával, ahol bárki elkészítheti a saját ételét.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Everything was absolutely amazing, the staff was great and incredibly welcoming. And the room even had its own Super Famicom! It was easily one of the cosiest stays we have ever had.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. I loved everything about this place! The staff was amazing, super friendly and nice people. Very helpful and cheerful but professional. The food was amazing too. I'm vegan and can say that I didn't expect that a hotel would put so much effort into creating a perfect vegan meal. Thank you so much for this experience. The Onsen is great too, I loved it (public and private ones). Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop so it's super easy to get everywhere from the hotel. The room was very clean and beautiful, providing everything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer at this amazing place! Highly recommend!

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Beautiful, clean and comfortable! Great rooms and very friendly staff.

Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. Absolutely everything. From room decor to the ambience of the whole resort, all have a luxurious and elegant feel. The staff are super helpful and polite. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. We loved our stay!

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Providing lake views and a garden, Chuzenji Pension offers accommodation in a prime location in Nikko, within a short distance of Kegon Falls, Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji Temple. The meals that were included in the stay were exceptional. Both the dinner and the breakfast were sumptuous.

Set in Hakone, Centurion Hakone Bettei offers 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The host went above and beyond in every way. From giving me directions on the route I should take to explore, to recommending restaurants, and advising on alternative modes of transportation. Additionally, the place is immaculately clean and the bath was lovely. I would highly recommend for any traveler.

A Tokió központjában elhelyezkedő cyashitsu ryokan asakusa légkondicionált szobákkal, bárral, ingyenes wifihozzáféréssel és közös társalgóval is várja vendégeit. Immaculately cared for with the kindest staff I have ever encountered. You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.
