Onsen Guest House Tsutaya er nýlega enduruppgert ryokan-hótel sem er staðsett í Hakone, 6,5 km frá Hakone-Yumoto-stöðinni og státar af baði undir berum himni og fjallaútsýni. Common areas like kitchen, onsen etc.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Amazing service, we were received with a warm welcome and complementary drink. The host was very helpful with answering all our questions. He also helped us with the takkyubin service organizing everything. The accomodation had a lot of facilities like an entertainment room with old arcade games and several private onsen bathrooms. Our room was also equipped with a private Nintendo gaming console. We loved to play the games again we used to play as a small kid :)

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. The private and public onsen were wonderful. They had a lot of variety for the dinner and breakfast. Everything was very clean. The best part was the very nice staff, especially during the meals. I’m terrible with names, but I especially appreciate the waiter who helped us who was originally from Nepal. There was also an older gentleman who made origami for our kids, but every person we me was super kind and genuine. It was also good that many of the staff spoke good English as my Japanese is very limited.

We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Chuzenji Pension býður upp á garð og útsýni yfir vatnið. Boðið er upp á gistirými á besta stað í Nikko, í stuttri fjarlægð frá Kegon Falls, Chuzenji-stöðuvatninu og Chuzenji-hofinu. The meals that were included in the stay were exceptional. Both the dinner and the breakfast were sumptuous.

Centurion Hakone Bettei er 4 stjörnu gististaður í Hakone. Boðið er upp á einkasvalir. Það er veitingastaður á staðnum og ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi eru í boði. We loved the friendly hotel staff, the food and the onsen spa. The whole experience was outstanding.

Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan er staðsett í Hakone og státar af heitum potti. Þetta 3-stjörnu ryokan er með fjallaútsýni og er 6,2 km frá Hakone-Yumoto-stöðinni. The host went above and beyond in every way. From giving me directions on the route I should take to explore, to recommending restaurants, and advising on alternative modes of transportation. Additionally, the place is immaculately clean and the bath was lovely. I would highly recommend for any traveler.

Cyashitsu Ryokan asakusa er staðsett í Tókýó, 300 metra frá Asakusa Fuji-helgiskríninu og 7,5 km frá miðbænum. Boðið er upp á loftkæld gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og baðkari undir berum himni. Wonderful and attentive staff, great location, beautiful onsen, clean rooms and facilities, general calm and quiet of the room itself. Yuka, Taiga, and the rest of the staff are brilliant!
