Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Amazing stay at this ryokan fully furnished , there was an amazing onsen in the room and 3 other onsens to use in the ryokan. The people working here are really welcoming and helpful ! Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Amazing hotel, historical vibe, great room (our room was in the historical building)

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen ligger i Hakone, 4,2 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. The onsen and the whole environment was so amazing and relaxing. Staff was very kind and really cared about everything, they even gave me a spotlight after the sun set when I walked to a nearby store. Breakfast (pastries) were served in the morning with tea/coffe, I didn't know that breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise.

Chuzenji Pension ligger i Nikko, inom 9 minuters promenad från Kegons vattenfall och 16 km från Nikkō Tōshō-gūs tempel, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering... Super friendly and helpful staff, everyone can speak English. Food is top-notch. The view from the room is magnificent.

Hacho no Yu ligger i Nikko och har gratis cyklar, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Denna ryokan med 3 stjärnorhar en restaurang och en bar samt gratis WiFi. They gave us japanese clothes (yukata) to walk around with in the hotel. The futons were super comfortable. We went during the week and there were not so many people, most of the time when we went to onsen we were the only people there as if it was a private one. The onsens were cleaned every day. We paid for the expensive dinner (according to their website) and it was totally worth it. The food amount was also enough and had a good diversity. Staff was very polite and responsive. Moreover, we had a balcony in the room where we could smoke cigarettes. If you plan to shower outside the onsen baths you might freeze to death on the way back to the room from the public bath. (In May). Getting to the hotel from Tokyo was also straight forward but it took some time.

Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan är ett 3-stjärnigt boende beläget i Hakone, 6,2 km från Hakone-Yumoto station och 48 km från Shuzenji-templet. The host went above and beyond in every way. From giving me directions on the route I should take to explore, to recommending restaurants, and advising on alternative modes of transportation. Additionally, the place is immaculately clean and the bath was lovely. I would highly recommend for any traveler.
